Corrupted SDRAM - Insert SD Card to upgrade Firmware

After putting the file "fw.bin" onto a 2 gig SD card formatted to FAT Default, I put the SD Card into the amp and flicked the power on. I held down the Save button and got a message saying "Insert SD Card to upgrade Firmware". Is my SD Card not formatted right for whatever reason, or am I pressing the wrong buttons? I've tried reformatting the SD card multiple times, and it has yet to work.
What is the filesize of the downloaded fw.bin file? If you're on a Windows PC, is it possible that you had Anti-Virus scanning the download? I've seen the fw.bin file get corrupted as a result of that.
The instructions (which you hopefully already have access to) are here: http://line6.com/support/docs/DOC-4778
The fw.bin file has a size of 331 MB. I disabled my antivirus for an hour and re-downloaded the file, but even after putting it on my flash drive and inserting it into the amp, I'm still encountering the same problem.
Do you have a different SD Card 2GB or less that you can (or have tried)? I've gone through a few here at the office...
P.S. If you've downloaded multiple copies of the fw.bin, please make sure that the one on the SD Card (root) is fw.bin and not something like: fw(1).bin or fw(2).bin. The amp will never see a file with that name.
After renaming fw(1).bin to fw.bin and attempting to put it onto two SD Cards and in the Spider Jam.... and neither working, I've decided to just go out and buy a new SD Card. Thank you for the help.
After going out and buying a new SD Card and that one not working either, I've come to the conclusion that my amp is completely screwed and that I'm gonna send it back...
