Jm4 looper doesn't want to record for 3 minutes and then it works again

It happens randomly and I am really scared because I will use it in some gigs.
When I press record in order to start a new song, no matter if I am in song, drums or recording, it seems it starts recording but when I stop the loop by pressing again record it's like nothing happened and the screen says"ready to record" again. I try and try several times and no matter what I do (disconnect, press different buttons) it does not work for a while.
It would be wonderful to solve the problem.
I also wander which are the steps in order to change the firware. In the webside the link where it explains it is not working.
And I forgot, I try to record with the aux and it does not record anything... Strange..
Thanks for your help, which I really need and I will really thank!

The first question that comes to mind is: how much remaining time is displayed in the LCD of your JM4? I wonder if you're experiencing a low memory remaining type scenario?
Have you ever saved recording to an SD Card for archiving to a PC/Mac before? Let me know.
It's not about the memory. Didn't record that many things. After I have this problem and after a while it works again, the I can record without any problem.
Yes I did save recording to a Sd card in wav and then used it in my computer.
please try reinstalling/updating the firmware first: http://line6.com/support/docs/DOC-1338
if this doesn't help, please try a different PX-2 power supply, this could also be the cause: http://line6.com/support/docs/DOC-4269
