Help!
I received a new DT amp yesterday as a replacement for my defect one, wich was sent to the servicesenter for service December 2nd 2011.
I updated the firmware to 1.20. Supprising me it was still 1.10 on a new amp, even if I have to wait 14 days for the delivery, after the distributer have ordered a new one.
I played with it the hole yesterday evening/night with the guitar connectet to the high intput in the front panel., and every thing sounded just great. I have'nt hooked it up with my Pod HD500 yet, since I keep it in our rehesal location.
Comming home from work today. Turn it on, all lights are reacting normally and all tubes are glowing. When I turned the standby button on after 60 seconds, I was supprised that there was no hum, and guess what, no sound att all.
I have tried different cables and differenr guitars, but still no hum or sound. All buttons lights changes when changing button posision, but I can't hear any physical sound when I change the modes, I think I can remeber it did on my first DT-50.
So I have just re-flashed the firmware (1.20) and still no sound.
I have been waiting for my amp since begining og December 2011, and now this happening angain. I'm tired of playing the HD500 throug PA only
Line6 can you please step in and give me some guidance!!!!!!

If the amp was shipped, check that the tubes are seated all the way...Might even be a good idea to pop them out and reseat them in the sockets...double check the speaker leads and the jack that everything is well connected...The speaker wire and the tubes are about the only thing that could come loose in transit...
Thanks for helpful answer! I need to bring it back to the store on monday ![]()
They (4Sound Norway) sent me a brand new one (again) today. Cross fingers that this model will work.
Sounds fantastic with my new Gibson ES 335 ![]()
