On the Backtrack

I cant get my backtrack to record anything anymore. It says the hard drive is full but I have thrown everything out. There is nothing in the trash. All the folders have nothing or very little in them. I tried to defrag the unit and it said it couldnt defrag certain files.They are the same files that I threw out.What caused this and how can I get it working again ?

    I would try Emptying the Trash (again) to make sure the deleted files are not still taking up drive space. Make sure you have the Backtrack device selected when you perform the Empty Trash operation.
