Problems with POD Studio UX1

Hi all,

I have a strange problem with POD Studio UX1: after a couple of hours of usage the audio mutes itself and also if I disconnect the interface the sound keeps to be muted; if i try to shut down the pc it freezes up and I have to reboot it manually.

Here are all the specifications of my pc:

Can you help me?

Thanks.

Re: Problems with POD Studio UX1

I would suggest that you remove any additional unnecessary USB and firmware devices from your computer when troubleshooting this issue. Make sure to connect the UX1 directly to a USB port and not a USB hub, extension, or keyboard of any kind. If using a laptop, make sure that it is plugged into a power outlet and not running off of battery power. Try using additional USB cables and every USB port available until you find one that will not mute the audio playback.

As you may know, almost every personal computer is a unique hardware and software environment. If one or more variables, including a given device driver, in the system don’t interact well with the rest of the system, the result can be undesired performance. Thus, we have provided a USB Audio Issues FAQ that describes what configuration variables numerous users have identified as the root cause of their audio issues:
