Sound Problem with UX2

I am using mu UX2 as my computer soundcard as well as my recording audio device. I have two studio speakers attached to my UX2. I have the latest drivers installed. Everything was working yesterday, This morning, I saw that my Windows PC had updated during the night - and had rebooted. I was online and tried to play a video and the sound from the UX2 was only coming out of the right speaker and sounded like it was in a can or like an old radio microphone. Of course, I immediately blamed Microsoft :-)

But when I switched over to the internal sound card, a RealTeck AC97 - 97 the sound played fine. So... I moved the UX2 to my laptop with the same results. Both meters show sound, but nothing comes out of the left speaker, and what comes out of the rigt speaker sounds like a 40's radio Mic. However, the sound coming from the headphones plays fine. In other words, H-E-L-P! :-)

I would reflash the firmware and see if that helps.

Also run the Monkey to confirm everything is current.

I know you said it sounds fine with your internal soundcard, but just for kick, swap your studio monitors and see if it is still the right side causing problems.
