POD HD PRO eq / preamp in fx loop

Im trying to match some eq's from my last boss processor, im getting close but missing something
Im looking for some eq settings that go lower than 75hz which is the lowest visible setting, If this is possible to pick something lower and boost it slightly. Some of my clean tones have tons of bottom end just because of the amp model, and when I switched over to this processor ive lost some bottom because I cant figure out what eq would work to get it back.
I think the percentages are confusing, who uses percentages to set an eq up? They just dont make any sense to me. I also dont enjoy using 2 eq's because certain frequencys arent available, id like to have an fx spot open up.
I also use a engl e530 in the fx loop, is there a way to monitor the level coming in so I know I have it set right, or a way to measure it to get the most volume out of the HD PRO, I know the HD PRO has enough volume on other channels where its using the line 6 preamps but I dont want to turn up the engl too high and have clipped signal, i would like to think there is a way to balance all this.
One more side note, I miss the 5150 amp model, i know I use a outboard preamp, but on my Vetta the 5150 was what I used.
thanks in advance
Bob
The Parametric EQ can go a little lower than 75 Hz. Checkout the post here for a user-created Percentage-to-frequency mapping. The interesting stuff is around the middle of the post from Meambobbo and alpernar. Edit: Meh! Forgot the link when I first posted this .... http://line6.com/support/thread/54022
On the engl in the loop thing. There are no monitors built into the POD that can help with this. The easiest way I found, to get comparitive levels, was to use a true bypass box (home made) to flip between the device in the loop and 'nothing' in the loop and compare the two levels.
Use the 'Instrument Output' on the pre-amp as this will run at Instrument/Stompbox level. Make sure that the loop is switched to 'Stomp'.
Another tip is that the Pod HD Loop can sometimes drop a few dB . Try something like:
How does that work for balance between modelled and 'real' patches now?
Also checkout the post here. http://line6.com/support/message/363421#363421 - may or may not be useful.
You can also temporary switch the pod to another device with level(LED)meter and compare the level or at the mixer in contrast to the direct connection.
Do you have a laptop or so? There is software available to measue.
Ill give all this a try and see what works best. Ill get back in a couple days. Give it a good test.
Forgot to post the first link I mentioned on percent to frequency mapping ... here it is! http://line6.com/support/thread/54022
