Getting your head around the Dream Rig...

As I have been delving deeper and deeper into the tonal possibilities of the Dream Rig, I find myself more and more working to reproduce tones as natural as possible. I do this by using unique amp models to create distortion/tone instead of adding virtual effects to the signal chain. What I am getting at is that even in my open-minded attitude towards the Dream Rig I am still having a hard time simply listening to the tone and ignoring how the tone is created.

So advice from one Dream Rig owner to another:

Fill your effects to capacity OR only use an amp model and the tone knobs to achieve your dream tone..  Don’t be disappointed when you realized that you can either wake the dead to get that sizzling hot distortion or simply add an artificial distortion and have your volume at a manageable level, it will nearly sound identical... Line 6 has harnessed tonal magic in this gear, now its up to us to settle down and make awesome music with it.

Good luck guys!
