Battery life of the THH06 Handheld mic

I recently purchased your XD-V35 Digital handheld system. After using it for the past three weeks Ive noticed that the battery life is poor. It is being used in a church service setting. We have had to replace the batteries each Sunday. Our use is usually approx 2.5-3 hours each week. Is this normal for this product? I love the product but the battery usage is of concern.

Only two possibilities spring to mind, Darryl...
You should get at least eight hours from a pair of fresh alkalines.
(I slightly favour Duracell (also bulk-packaged as Procell) over Eveready, but there's not a lot in it. "No-name" bulk "specials" are a definite "No, ...NO !"
Whatever happens, I'd always start each event with a fresh pair anyway. Hang the expense.
Ron,
Thanks for the reply. I will monitor the performance closer as it relates to the battery usage. If it persist, I will have to look into possibly returning it for a replacement.
Thanks again,
DB
Running a new set of alkaline batteries I would expect somewhere between 7-9 hours of operation (depending on how "fresh" the batteries actually are. Much less than that is certainly not normal.
I would suggest that you get a new set and actually start a timer to see how long the batteries perform. If you are only getting 2.5-3 hours then something is wrong and the unit should be returned for service.
Stay in the mix and in the know.
