Sounds like it could be a defective unit. Try not to get discouraged, these things happen. If it's not too much of a hassle I would say uninstall everything, take it back to the store you bought it from and exchange it for a new one then start fresh. If you're still having problems then there's some step in the process you must be missing so let the forum know and hopefully it can get fixed quickly so you can make some music.

I have checked & triple checked everything. I am a computer tech & work with this sort of thing everyday so it is not something I am not doing that's for sure.
I don't think they have anymore :-\ I wanted/needed this for an important project this weekend & now I have to look at buying something else :-\

Well, no response from Line 6 yet :-\ So I returned the unit & exactly the same issues with the new one!!
I am a IT expert & have set up multiple computer networks.that are far easier to set up than this bloody thing! Seems the KB37 IS NOT totally VIsta compatable at all. Only way I could get it working was to do a total reinstall of the OS upgrading it to Vista Ultimate (as these are not Windows & compatable) So after spending 6 hours backing up all my data & music & another few hours installing the new OS & reinstalling all my other software it now works but along the way my full version of Reason & Recycle are now not working! Arrrgggghhhhh!
This is the most painful damn thing to set up that I have ever used in my life! A Server & 50 computer network is easier to set up than the KB37! Lol

Im from Australia, and Im having the same issue. I am setting this up on a mates laptop and have to say this is a piece of **** for people starting out. I would never recommend one of these. I have Edirol PCR800 and it was insatnt plug and play, no crap added on. Whoever designed this is terrible because it is not user friendly.

I am from Peru and I have the same problem.
I use to use th KB37 with the Windows XP with no problem at all. But when I upgrade my OS to Windows Vista (in the same laptop), Everything changed. The KB37 does not work any more.
It is amazing how Line 6 does not do anything about it. it is very disappointing.
