How do you calibrate the expression pedal? I looked in the manual but couldn't find it. My pedal registers full value with the toe down but doesn't go to minimum value with the heel down position.
It's in the Quick Startup Guide, page 16.
Hold the > on the 4 Way Nav Pad while turning the power on. You will see the "Test Mode" screen.
Here is the proper procedure:
me having the same problem too.but i caliber the padel but it still no t working.what i do?spruilldog did u solve ur problem?
Try going back to the Pedal Calibration setting on HD500 and check if calibration was saved. I think there is an indicator there that the calibration was already completed and successfully saved.
i think it's saved by pressig D FS.it's showa padle cal-p.i think that means it saved.but the problem is after pressing C FS the automatic scaleing mode stuck to 0.it doesn't goes up to 255 when i use the padel.any help??
its a design flaw.... the sensor gets dust on it and stops from registering 0... you physically need to open up the pod to clean the little disk.... its not hard or anything but obviously not for everyone to attempt.... there was a post about it somewhere on here
i brought it after 1 day that problem arise.is it dust problem?
me facing another problem after calibering the padle i save and restart the pod then maiximume bank tone not working meins i didn't get any sound when i strumming the guitar.after global rest everythig gets ok except the volum control of the padel.it that a problem of farmware update.me update it to 2.0
And what about a 2nd Pedal . . ? Can it be calibrated too?
mine was doing the same on the first calibration after powering up. Toe down 255 and then the heel down was only rolling back to 20 instead of 0. Found if I pushed D to save it, then went back into it again by pushing VIEW and ran thru it all again, it worked the second time.
