A good quality cab will tighten the low end up considerably.  Also, you could download the old firmware version 1.17 from the downloads section and use Monkey to load it onto the head. The amp models on the original firmware were more bass-heavy.

Why do you need more low end though?  I run an HD100 mkii as well, and it has more low-end than I ever need. If I turn it up to where it sounds low-end heavy when I play by myself, then it sounds terrible when I play with the band. It covers up everything else in the high bass register, muddying the sound.  Let the bass guitar handle the low frequencies. If you play with a band, I'd recommend you dial in your sounds together and make sure you're playing is tight with one another.  That's when you'll get a killer rhythm sound with plenty of low end.  If everyone dials in their sounds alone, then comes together as a band, it'll sound like crap.

    I'll stop writing now....
