Where is the software for my FBV shortboard MKII?

I bought this a year ago. I finally read the bazillion page manual. Tried to download as discribed, but nothing shows up on the website. It says "No software available at this time for your device".

Where do I get what I need? I down loaded Monkey, but when it comes up, My device is not listed. Do I need a different version? I have 1.53... Any help on this is appreciated.

The only 'software' for the FBV controllers is the installed firmware and any updates (not sure there is an update for the Shortboard, there was one for the Express).  Do you mean Spider Edit (used for installing/changing presets in a Spider amp) or Spider Control (used for controllling MIDI devices with your FBV)?  Neither of these are software for your FBV, but installed on your computer.

Do you have your Shortboard connected to your computer via USB when you start up Monkey?  If Monkey does not 'see' your Shortboard, you should try a different USB cable and port in your computer, also make sure you have disabled any anti-virus and firewall software.

FBV Shortboard MKII and Express MKII controllers do have the ability to send MIDI-over-USB control data messages to a host computer. More importantly, if you're running Audio/MIDI recording/sequencing software programs, most of the major software programs will accept MIDI input of control data to make changes to software parameters that are "mapped" to said events in real-time.

The FBV Control software program is our application that allows you to create your own switch "mappings" to change the type of MIDI-over-USB message that the controller will trigger. Please remember this has nothing to do with controlling a Line 6 amp or POD device via Ethernet connection; this is MIDI-over-USB. If this is what you're looking to do, here are the installer links for the FBV Control program...
