HD500 4 Cable Method Ground Loop Hum

I have my HD500 connected to my Carvin V3 combo via the 4 cable method using high quality shielded cables, and have a very high amount of ground loop hum, to the point it's unusable.

All the components in my setup are connected to AC power via a Furman conditioner.

If I connect my guitar directly to the front of amp instead of through the HD, no hum at all.

Any ideas?

Yes, I had a similar problem with my Marshall JVM using 4CM.   The trick for me was to remove some of the ground connections between the POD and the amp .. you should only need one connection.

You can either try a transformer (e.g. Ebtech Hum Destroyer or Behringer HD400) or simply break the ground connection on some of your cables.  I went with the broken ground connections and this was very effective for me.
