i'm able to load & use the win7 driver for my x3 live but it doesnt show up as an ASIO selection in the DAW. I can use directsound or even use asio4all as an ASIO driver to get to the x3 live and record just fine, but neither of those allows simultaneous DRY recording, which I would like to have.
Tried with a couple of DAWs. did the install/uninstall route.
I'm sad, because this used to work ![]()
One other data point ... occassionally the x3driver locks up & I lose all sound. all audio apps lockup as well - I have to reboot Win7.
tried different usb ports, uninstalled, reinstalled, etc. no fix.
Ideas..?? Thoughts ??
Ok. Reinstalling the current driver. Did not work. But I went back to an old driver from 2010 & ASIO is working properly now.
Perhaps the new driver installer doesnt quite get the registry right on reinstalls ??
Anyway.. I think I'm good now.
csb.
