X3L direct & live out question

Is it possible to set the X3L up to have the cab and mic sims on the direct outs and no sims on the live outs simultaneously?

    Yes. Go to the X3 Outputs pages. There are two pages: one for the Direct (XLR) Outputs and one for the Live (1/4") Outputs. The XLR outputs always include the cab/mic sims. The Live Ouputs CAN include these sims (if set to Match Studio / Direct) but will NOT include these sims if set to any of the available Live modes. Select the Live mode that most closely matches the gear to whioch your 1/4" Output(s) are connected.

      Thank you for the quick response. I wanted to be able to record direct and live at the same time, but direct without the sims = poo and I prefer not having the sims on my live tone. Any experience recording in this manner? Sorry for all the questions but I'm new to this, always used an amp and mic.
