Can I use my PodX3 live to control the tempo of a keyboard?

Hi, My current set-up includes a PODX3 Live, which I run guitars through/etc. I'm wondering if there is a way use the PODX3 live as an external master tempo for my Novation Ultranova. I know the Nova's MIDI clock can be controlled by an external source, but I can't figure out how (or if it's even possible) to send tempo information over MIDI from the PODX3.

I'm in a band that relies heavily on improv,so being able to change my internal tempo on the fly is very important. I want to be able to tap in tempo changes on the PODX3 live that will affect the Nova's clock so my arpeggiators and sewuences and effects and stuff will be able to change along with the band.

Thanks!

When you tap on the POD X3's TAP TEMPO switch, it sends MIDI CC# 64.  As long as your external gear will correcspond with this MIDI CC#, then you should be able to control the tap tempo of that gear.

Surely this is exactly the sort of question that should continue to be asked here on the forums - I certainly learned the answer to a question that I didn't even know I wanted to ask!! That is the beauty of forums. If all future questions are going to be asked via the support link (and I assume support tickets) it is going to kill the greatness of this forum, that is users helping each other.
