I've had the spider IV hd 150 for about 2 months and I'm liking it so far. About 4 hours ago, I went and picked up the fbv express mkii. I downloaded the monkey and fbv controller program (which I guess is what allows you to download tones and whatnot). I calibrated the foot pedal and now I have no clue how to do anything else such as download tones and get them on to the pedal so I can play them. I find this line 6 stuff cool but annoyingly confusing..that or I'm just a complete idiot. Would someone please help
Thanks!
don't forget to get the Spider IV Edit program also, this is an easy way to setup your own custom sounds.
there are many videos to watch to get the hang of it, I was the same way when i 1st got mine home. this is my 1st modeling amp, and i was very confused at 1st.
Got the edit program too but it's saying "no line6 device detected" even though the fbv express mkii is hooked up to my CPU via USB...does the amp head need to also be plugged into the floor board?
But aside from that I really have no clue how to use the fbv controller program. And I think that's the program that you actually assign the tones you download to the fbv express mkii. Is that correct?
have you registered your pedal board and amp.?
you need to do that to activate it, then you will see it in the edit program.
yes, the amp needs to be plugged into the FBV. The controller is jusst an interface in this application, providing a path from teh computer to your amp.
