Hey friends, I've got a problem with it,hope you'll help me thru.
I record a riff with a clean preset, then I want to play a riff with OD over it,I switch to OD, when I press the play switch, the pre recorded riff also sounds overdriven, thanks in advance for the helps.
Check the position of Looper in teh signal chain. For our purposes the Looper should be in POST position.
+1 Silverhead !
sorry for reviving the topic, still got no solution for it,
To be honest cant even get what you mean by :
For our purposes the Looper should be in POST position
Thanks.
The Looper in the Pod HD series can be placed within the signal chain in two positions: either at the beginning of the signal chain, before all other FX and Amp models. (PRE position) or at the end of the signal chain, after all other FX and Amp models (POST position). You should place it in POST position to do what you want.
Here is a thread you might find helpful:
With the hd300/400 it's the channel "A" "AMP" "POST/PRE" button, It should be lit when it's in POST position.
I use the looper by pressing the loop switch first, then pressing the rec switch,It's not placed in any position of the signal chain.Should I place it by using the edit program? Thanks in advance.
When you engage the Looper all of the footswitches take on Looper functionality. As you've noted, one of them starts the recording process. Another one (the display will tell you which) allows you to place the Looper in either PRE or POST position. The display tells you what the effect of pressing the footswitch will be. In other words, if the display says POST, then the Looper is currently in PRE position and hitting the footswitch will change it to POST, which is what you want.
