HD500 + UX2 mix-n-match

Howdy folks,
I currently have the UX2 (bought in 2009-ish, using the latest updates) running on Win 7-64 and everything works like it should.
I'm considering buying the HD500 board and I'm wondering how the two can work together (if at all).
1. Can I take all those tones I spent hours developing in UX2 and "drop" them into the HD500?
2. Can the two libraries be combined so that my UX2 can access all the new goodies (amp models, stomp boxes, fx sims, etc.) from the HD500 and vice versa?
Thanks for your time!
I've been useing the UX2 simultaneously with Hd 500 in many different ways. The patches remain seperate (tones cannot be interchanged). I run gearbox at the same time as HD 500 Edit. I have a Condenser Mic going thru the UX2 and Re-Amp with it, or just run it through the FX loop on the 500. There are other way though. I'm using a Spider Jam Amp.
Thanks for the quick response!
Basically I want to transfer some of the tones I created on UX2 into the HD500 so I can use them for a live performance (since I don't take my laptop to gigs). So if I want my HD500 to have a tone I built in UX2, I have to recreate it from scratch in the HD500; is that correct?
Your gonna have to rebuild the tones, as best you can, in the HD 500. I was hopeing that Line 6 would make gearbox patches interchangeable with the HD500 patches but no go.
Thank you kindly; that's the info I was looking for.
Glad I could help. Rock-On !!!
