UX2 headphones output buggy

Hi community,

I just purchased the product but I when i setup the ux2 by usb to my lappy, im not sure why when i listen to music i dont hear all the guitar sounds in the tracks, but the drums vocals etc are all audible.

I've trial and errored my adapter/headphones and they're all working fine so im really puzzled.

I'm aware that alternatively you can output the sound via the analogue line outs but I prefer monitoring from my headphones when playing/recording.

Anyone experienced such a similar problem before?

I know you don't want to use the Analog Outs 1/2, but for the purposes of troubleshooting a hardware issue, if you were to connect those two outputs to two different powered speakers, do you hear the guitar/drums/vocals clearly? I ask this question to establish whether it's just a hardware problem with the Phones output jack or if the Analog Outs 1/2 are also affected.

I've never known a bad Phones jack to omit guitar sounds, though. Are you sure that the guitar tracks aren't muted in your recording software? Or, are you just streaming a stereo 2-track mix in iTunes or Windows Media Player? This is important to know.
