HD500 BSOD plugging usb lead in.

Searched site for help and found this ;

Link to the article showing how to fix this issue doesn't work .
Finding the usbfilter.sys in the windows system 32 and deleting it disables my mouse and keyboard that are both connect to the computer via usb .
Installed driver via Line 6 Monkey but it is still displaying ' not installed' in info window .
I have an AMD Phenom 2 X4 processor .

Do you have a Catalyst Control Panel?
If so, try removing the USB filter with the control panel.
Also try all your USB ports.

Thanks for that . It was the Usb filter in Catalyst Control panel that needed removing . All working fine now.
