Question for Owners of DT 25 and POD HD400

I have the HD 400 and I am considering a purchase of the DT25. My question is that I know you can store presets for the amp topographies ect with patches on the 400. Is there anyway to bypass that functionality so that if I am connected through line 6 link and I have a footswitch connected to the amp, I can switch between channel one and two? What I want is seamless changes between a clean and dirty sound. I notice that in the 400 if I go from preset to preset there is an audible gap.
Thanks

I don't own a DT amp so can't help you there, but I can say that there should be no audible gap when switching presets using the HD400 standalone. If you are running HD400 Edit when you notice this gap then that is normal because of the need to keep the Edit prgram memory and the device memory in sync. But you should not hear any gap with the HD400 device disconnected from the computer.
If you are still hearing a gap when the device is not connected, please let us know and we will help try to resolve that for you as well.
You can do that on the HD400 without a FS (I am not sure the FS would even work when the link is connected, never tried that)....
When you turn off the amp model (AMP Button), the DT will change to channel B....The only real drawback to that is that your other FX that might be on will be PRE over the link...But you are on the correct Mode to shut them down (STOMP)...neat feature...
If you want to 4CM the HD400 into the DT, you can do that...you will need a conventional FS and 4 cables and you cable up conventionally without the link...
Stay in the mix and in the know.
