Pod HD Pro and Logic??

When i record a track in Logic with my Pod HD Pro the volume is very low and shitty! How do i solve this problem?? David
Could be a few things. I would start off by checking the levels in the drivers. There is now a checkbox and slider that allow you to boost by 18dB and trim the levels respectively.
On the Pod or in Logic? And how do i find this driver where i can adjust the level? Sorry for the stupid question:) And thanx alot for helping out:) David
neither the pod nor logic...
look for the line6 control in the control panel
Im sorry but dont get it? What control panel? In the Pod Hd Pro Edit??
in windows... or the mac equivelant if that's what yuo are using...
Assuming you are running Windows ...
Click on 'Line 6 Audio-Midi Devices' and take it from there.
Thanx man! Now i tried turning the slidebar up but the sound gets even more shitty and very distorted! Louder than before but still not as it should be.... I dont get it
Not sure at this point then whether this is a Logic problem, a Windows Problem or a Pod problem. It looks like the drivers are installed OK and working so i guess the Windows End is ok.
The Pod becomes your PC soundcard so I take it you have some kind of amp/speakers plugged into the Pod. How does it sound when you play but do not record. OK?
I don't know Logic to advise you on what to check but I am sure that there will be someone here who does.
Im using a imac and a set of Prodipe monitors! The pod sounds great while im recording and great without logic, but when i recorded the track and play it, its way too low and very distorted....
Im running it on a old mac and a cracked version of logic, i dont know if thats the problem?? I recorded loads of music with this computer in logic with my UX2 with great sound...
if its really old (PPC) then you'd be lucky it works at all (be the first HD pod i've heard of working with PPC)
you might try switching your sample rate from 44.1 to 48 or vice versa... i've seen this rate cause issues... and it sounds like it might be playing back in the wrong rate...
wouldn't know precisely where to change it though.... i got rid of all my macs.
So a new computer is the solution?? Im buying a new Imac very soon, i hope this will fix it then...
No guarantees (and a legit version of Logic might be a positive step too!!!) but the odds are good. We don't have legions of outraged Logic users on the forum so I am guessing it usually works pretty well.
Should i consider using pro tools instead? Or something else maybe???
just as a toubleshooting step,, and to maybe get some recording done...
you might get reaper and give it a spin... free to try
