POD HD500 Silent Tuning

Is there a way to use the tuner silently? Everytime I tune I hear my guitar thru my amp. This is not cool for live gigs.
When you're in the tuning mode, one of the knobs under the LCD gives you the options. I'm not near mine so I can't see it, but I believe it is the knob under the right bottom corner of the screen.
Hope that helps.
Thanks,
I will check it out tonight. I have had the HD500 for about 7 months now and have not really spent alot of time with it. I have been gigging with my spider valve mkI combo for a while but don't like the limited effects. I am trying to dial in the tones for the HD500 and just recently started using it for rehearsals and found out that the tuning mode I am in is not silent, I have a gig Friday and Saturday and am trying to decide if I want to use it live. I can't seem to get my clean patch loud enough to match my other patches. Any thoughts on how to do this?
There are basically two controls to balance volume levels among different patches: the Channel Volume and the Mixer. Both of these operate per-preset and do not alter the tone. Controls like the Drive and the amp Master Volume can increase volume but also affect tonality.
If you can't get enough volume from your clean patch using these controls you may need to dial down the volume of your other patches to match. Adding a VOL pedal to the presets will let you do this on-the-fly. Then turn up the overall volume using either the HD500 device master volume or the controls on your outboard equipment.
Stay in the mix and in the know.
