Questions about pod farm

Hello

I have a xt pro but I am considering buying pod farm also because of reamping and prosessing of recorded tracks. I dont play guitar, but record keyboards, soft synths and bass guitar into Logic and if I use

pod prosessing I need the keyboard, synths etc. to be true stereo, and that should be easier with this plugin. With the xt pro I need to manipulate the mono signal recorded from the pod to create true stereo, and that is sometimes difficult. The questions is, are patces created in the xt pro going to sound exactly the same in pod farm when I use the same effect models? And second, I have the fx junkie model pack for the xt pro, do I have to purchase pod farm platinum to access the model packs or can the liscense for it on the xt pro also be used in pod farm?

I hope someone can take their time and answer:)

Cheers

In theory yes, the patches should sound the same.

If I create a patch with my PODxt and record my dry signal, then add the same plug-in, it sounds the same to me.

If you purchase the POD Farm 2 Standard Standalone Hardware Independent and your FX Junkie is a purchased license you will be able to authorize it with the POD Farm 2 software.

But you may not have access to the models included in the power pack, which I think came free with the xt firmware 3.0, without plugging in the xtPro as a dongle.
