POD Farm 2 suddenly does not work in DAW Anymore

I have run POD Farm 2 flawlessly (I quite enjoy the program) in my DAW for a number of monthes, but yesterday when I tried to use the plugin I got the message that although I DO own a POD X3, that I must buy a license for POD Farm 2 seperate of it, even though it was a free program (with a line 6 device) that I installed monthes ago
I don't understand why suddenly the program would decide to do this, I have run it fine for a long time before this. Can anybody help?
Thanks
if you have been having Pod Farm 2 working previously (and not all X3Ls came with a free licence for Pod Farm2 - some did but some only came with a Pod Farm 1 licence) and it has suddenly stopped working I would suggest opening a support ticket directly with Line6. You can do this here
http://line6.com/support/tickets/add.html
I know this sounds obvious but there is no way that you have somehow tried pod farm 2.5 instead of 2 is there?
Best of luck sorting this out.
