Tone Library in Gearbox is a black screen

I just got myself a Pod 6 XT. The very first time I loaded up the GearBox software, it worked fantastically. I could browse tones on the web, click them and they'd instantly load themselves up. It was pretty sweet.
Every single time I've launched GearBox since then however, the Tone Library and Guitarport Online buttons only show me an empty, black screen or a "Connecting to GuitarPort Online" with a pair of guitars and then a black screen. I hear a couple of Windows Exclamaition sounds, but I don't see anything on the screen.
Things that didn't help:
Running Gearbox as Administrator
Manually adding Gearbox to the Windows firewall list of things
Rebooting
Reinstalling Gearbox
My system specs:
Windows 7 - Some kind of edition - 64 bit
Lots of ram and HDD space
Line 6 Monkey v1.59
GearBox v3.72
Hi. Gearbox was primarily used for accessing the GuitarPort Online service that has been discontinued as of yesterday. What you're seeing is Gearbox trying to access services/features that no longer exist. Line 6 Edit is an alternative for editing tones. POD Farm 1.12 is an alternative software for on-the-fly tone creation that can be sent to your recording software if desired. That was also a Gearbox feature.
Aww man... I guess that explains why the guy selling me his POD XT wanted so little for it. It doesn't look like Pod Farm supports the XT does it?
yes pod farm will work with the xt as a plugin not a standalone product.
Does anyone know if the custom tones in the tone library will be available again?
you should still be able to access any tones you download... check out http://customtone.com
excellent, cheers!!
