Hi,

  I don't have the UX1 but I have a few things to offer:

1. the stereo monitor in is for plugging in something like a cd player, so that you can hear the cd while playing. This won't be sent to the computer though.

2. from what I've seen online of the monitors, you could take the rcas and connect one to the analog out left and the other to the analog out right. Take these to the back of the right speaker (monitors) (I think it's the right one) and plug the one from the analog left into the line in 2 L socket, and take the other from the analog out right, to the line 2 R rca socket.

3. You need to change your settings so that you are not using your laptop's soundcard for any sound when the ux1 is running. The UX1 will become the soundcard. So, you need to listen to the output through the ux1's output.

Forgive me if I have misunderstood anything you have done or why etc....like when you say you can only plug in one speaker. I might be taking you up wrongly. You might mean that for some reason it cannot connect to the back of the right speaker. If it is ok, you I think would plug the left speaker wire into the socket on the back of the right speaker, labeled 'to left' under the 'Output' area.
