Recording CD/MP3 input

Hi,
I've only had my HD500 a couple of days so I'm on s steep learning curve.
I have my HD500 set up as an external soundcard to windows XP. While playing over a backing track or guitar pro I can record my guitar with Audacity but not the backing track. I have the guitar plugged into the "Guitar In" input and the backing track in the "CD/MP3 In" input on the HD500. Is it possible to record the backing track and the guitar as I hear it through the "phones" output of theHD500?
Thanks in advance
Ben
Yes, the way I do this is to have the backing track (mp3) located on your computer and import the BT into audacity from there instead of using the CD/mp3 in on the HD. I also use Reaper in the same way. The CD/mp3 input is great for playing along with BTs but I'm not sure if there is anyway to record like that.
+1 to lforward00.

Thankyou for your replies. I'm curious how you found the link? I'm finding it difficult to search these forums. Whenever I use the search bar it brings up responses for variety of different products. Is there any way to narrow searches specifically for the hd500 or even hd pod products?
I choose the searching windows on the very right side, and I use several keywords like "cd mp3 HD500".
