Playing a backing track through the HD Pro

I've got a POD X3 Pro which works pretty good for the most part. A while back I loaded the USB Drivers for it and that allows me to play a bass and drum backing track and I hear that through the headphones while I play my live guitar through the headphones as well. Works real nice for that.
Can I do the same thing with the HD Pro?
Yes, you can.
Thanks for the reply. I'm seriously thinking of ordering one. I hear the modeling is better.
The modelling is indeed much better ![]()
Tangentially, I just noticed that the comparison sheet for the HD500 and Pro here http://line6.com/podhd/multi-effects/compare.html shows the Pro as having a 1/8" input for MP3. From the photos I have seen of the Pro, this does not seem to be the case and it looks like a documentation glitch. I have notified Line 6 directly but mention it here for the benefit of people searching for into on the board.
You are correct about that, jim. The HD Pro has no cd/mp3 input. Thanks for pointing out the doc error.
@357mag: I assume that since you mentioned the USB driver that you are talking about playing the backing tracks on your computer, and hearing them throught the HD Pro via the usb connection. The answer to that is yes. If you meant to ask whether you can play backing tracks directly from an external cd/mp3 player over an audio connection, the answer is still yes but it requires a bit of setup due to the lack of a cd/mp3 input.
