Toneport UX1 Software Downloads

Hello,
I had purchased a Toneport UX1 about 2 years ago, and recently have gotten it back out to start recording again.
I came across a problem when I couldn't find the Installation CDs, however I do have the Toneport itself.
I tried to register my product on the site, but for some reason the serial number wasn't recognized.
I can see the serial number clearly on the Toneport, so it's not an issue of whether the numbers/letters are faded, the site just won't recognize my SN.
I did find a download for Gearbox, but can't find any drivers or the recording software ( I can't remember the name of it) anywhere on the site.
I'm basically just trying to get all the files from the CDs back so I can start recording again.
Thanks ahead!
when you register the device, it wont let you register it, if it's been registered to another user account. so perhaps it's erroring because you already registered it before with an old account you have forgotten about. the other reason I can think of is that there will be 2 UX1's in the list to register, one will be the toneport, and the other will be the POD Studio. ensure you select the toneport UX1 and not the pod stdio as the serial numbers start differently.
the gearbox installer has the drivers included in it so the only thing I guess you're missing is the ableton live lite software, which I'm not sure you can get hold of again if you've lost it. it's definately not available to download on this site as it's not made by line6.
you could use something like reaper for your recording software, as many use this, and it'sa free product (apart from the banner when you open it). http://www.reaper.fm/
i hope this helps you.

Not free.
okay so it's not free, but in version 2 it just puts a banner up every time you open it even after the 30 days, then you can clear the banner after a few seconds and still use it, in fully featured mode. that's still technically against the license adgreement, but for someone who only records something once in a blue moon, who cares. for anything more than that then the $60 is well worth it for the features, and the frequency of bug fixes.

Mmmmhhhh....
You're right.
But maybe he is used to the Ableton software. Let me see what I can do. I bet that I can Google a working cracked free version of Live Suite 8 in less than 15 minutes.
lol, ok you're right
but there is a difference between using a trial for longer than you should, because the developer chooses to let the product still be used past the 30 days, and blatently getting cracked software or using someone elses code, which bypasses the security features that the developer chooses to put on their software to stop you using it.
but I do hear you, reaper isn't really free.
Hello,
Sometimes letters and numbers can be interchanged when inputing serial numbers and cause registration errors. See the following link:

Thanks to all for your help.
I have never registered the Toneport, so it couldn't be that. I've never made an account, and I'm the original owner.
I did notice that when I picked the Toneport UX1 on the type list, it automatically picked the first 6 or 7 numbers/letters in the serial for me. However, it read them as 21UX100 instead of (21)UX100 (of course theres more than this in the serial haha but im not posting that). I'm not sure if this is what is doing it, and i tried both without the () and with them and neither worked.
As far as the software, I was able to get Gearbox and Monkey off the site, and it's working just fine! I'll see if I can find a "working" version of Ableton somewhere, so I guess if I can find that there's really no need to reg this product.
Thanks again guys!

i think you're missing the point.
if your serial number is 21UX20S1111009876, then you take off the 21UX2, and only enter the 0S1111009876 into the box. you don't need to worry about entering the (21)UX2 at all, as you said you tried it with and without the brackets, I guess you're entering too much of the code.
ok. so i am a registered owner of a UX1. my computer died. i now have a new one but cannot find my software disk. would very much like to start using my UX1 again but can not if i don't have disk. can any one help? because Line 6 don't seem to have an answer.
