Has anyone swapped the mag pickups in a JTV69?

If anyone out there has attempted replacement of their mag PUPs in a JTV-69, please give me some tips & advice.  I'm looking to fit a set of current Fender Strat noiseless PUPs - or possibly Lace - and wondered if anyone had any do's and don'ts, pictures of what to expect under the pickguard, etc., before I start.  Any advice will be welcomed.

I just this past weekend replaced the pickups in my JTV-69 w/a set of Kinmans (2, 59s and an Astound Humbucker)...what a difference.  The guitar is now very usable w/o the modelling.  I highly recommend you take a look at these, if you want the guitar to sound great w/o the noise of traditional single coils.

My camera is busted currently and I'm not sure when I'll get around to recording.  However, you can check out this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cdX72tSi1c0

As in the Video, there is little or no noise from the pickups and they are really clear, with a slight breakup when pushed. The Kinman Extra Vintage Astound pickup is in the bridge position and sounds/looks exactly like the video.  The two single coils (I order 59's) are identical to what he demos in the video...Not sure I can do any better for a demo/sound.  They are shipped from Australia I believe for around $350 for the set.

No modifications were required other than soldering skills.  I had to unsolder the existing pickups from the switch.  Once they are unsoldered, I highly recommend soldering solid core, coated small circuit wire (can be found at any radio shack) to the Variax Swtich...this is because the pads are small on the Switch Circuit board and a solid core wire will be easier to solder to the pads...be careful not to overheat, otherwise you'll burn the pads off and distroy the circuit board.  Once the wires are attached to the circuit board, you can solder the pickups to the wires (now attached to the circuit board).  For the Kinman pickups, the "Red" wire is Hot...Connect RED from each of the Kinman pickups to Pads: W1, W3, & W5; The shield wire from the pickups will connect to Pads W2, W4, and W6.  The Wiring Diagram for the JTV is here: http://line6.com/support/docs/DOC-2496... W1/W2 is for the Bridge pickup...W3/W4 is Middle, W5/W6 is the Neck.   On the Kinman Humbucker Tape Off the White Wire (do not connect).
