This is tricky. Most likely the tip of the 1/4" plug is broken. If you pull out the plug it might fall off completely and remain in the jack. This is a bit a surgical task and if it does not come out a firm tug I would have a proffessional repair technician do it.

I nearly had that happen on my ss as well, it was the jacks that double up as xlrs. Luckily for me I got it out, but was very stiff, the jack not me!!
