FBV Shortboard Mk I compatibility with Spider III 150W

After my old longboard finally gave up the ghost (good long service) I'm looking at getting a replacement, and there are some bargains on the old shortboard....just wondering if there is a definitive answer as to the compatibility with the spider III.
