Hey Line6 where's my incentive?

Last month I bought a JTV69 and I really like it.
This weekend I bought a HD500 and I'm happy with it, though it's going to take me a while to figure it all out.
What's my incentive to get a DT25. Yeah it's cool and all, but I don't really need another amp. I've only been player for
about 6 months so nobody wants to hear me play (except maybe the guy who's paid to teach me). So I spend most of my time
with headphones on anyway.
Where's the $100 rebate after you've registered all 3 components of a dream rig?
Unless I missed it, there's not even a "I have a dream rig" T-shirt.
Come on Line6.

Interesting thoughts. I'll be interested to see what -if anything- with your suggestions.
I know for certain one thing will happen if Line 6 now decides to do any of your suggestions - Myself and tons of other people will all need T-shirts, drink coozies, Line 6 wrist bands, Ball caps, and Line 6 would "owe" all of us around the globe several hundred dollars each in rebates from having several Dream Rigs, plus all the other gear purchased.
What do you think they should give out for buying the new PA gear? It's $2,500.00 just for the mixer.
Just out of curiosity, why do you feel they should do this?
I think the incentive for buying multiple pieces is the very nature of the product design. Yes, you bought 3 items instead of 2 or 1 but you also got a ton of extra functionality as a result of the three pieces working together. Sure, a rebate would be nice, but if I had to choose between a rebate and products that work together in such a way that the feature set actually increases, well--I did decide. I bought one. (dream rig)
As someone who does this for a living, I can safely say that L6 will do this if/when they feel they need to stimulate sales volume, which I suspect is not the case right now.
And the incentive price/rebate for the Dream Rig and the PA I was wondering about have all come to pass. Of course in keeping with all business tradition - no rebates are retroactive for buying in sooner rather than later.
So it makes me wonder about these two very old sayings - both of which have equal merit...
Which in this situation is the wiser saying? :-)
None of the above to is be taken seriously - just a bit of humor and perhaps some food for thought. Nothing more than that should be inferred.
Stay in the mix and in the know.
