Vetta II Tube Preamp?

Will running a tube preamp into a Vetta II have any negative effects on the amplifier itself over time? I understand that it actually does add warmth according to some users, I just want to know if it will harm the amp in any way.
It will be okay as long as the output is no greater than what you would get from any other pedal.

Yeah I suppose you could but why would anyone do that?
Because I thought it was a good idea. Saw some other dude do it and he said it worked miracles. Needless to say, it didn't. Wasted 40 bucks on a box that adds static. It does however, work fairly well for vocal and acoustic recording.
Stay in the mix and in the know.
