Studio GX driver problem.

After connecting the GX to the mac, the light on the GX goes from red to green. Everything seems to be fine. But when I open pod farm 2.5, it works fine as long I dont change the tone. If I choose one of the preset tones, the light goes from green to "no light", and in the sound settings the GX out/input disappears from the menu, as does the sound goes dead. I have to restart the mac, to get the green light going, and have the GX communicating with the mac. I have reinstalled the driver using the line6-guide: http://line6.com/support/docs/DOC-2617 but it still wont work. I even tried to downgrade the driver without without any luck (driver 7.1.9 and 7.1.3).

Help anyone?

I think there are still some bugs for the Mountain Loin drivers.

I know it is a PITA, but I would contact them directly, the more info they have hopefully the sooner they can resolve the issue.

I have the exact same problem. Every time I run Monkey it tells me drivers are out of date and my firmware version is unknown, even though it's downloaded and installed the drivers multiple times. very very frustrating not being able to play my guitfiddle through these awsome toys.

You have to force it to quit the mother what?

FYI... there are driver issues with Mountain Lion and Line6 is working on it.

I know it's a PITA, but you could submit a support ticket.

    Hopefully they'll fix this soon.

    Re: Studio GX driver problem.

I just bought the new imac and i have the same problem with my GX, with my old pc everythink was working right.

When i change the tone in pod farm or open garage band the light goes from green to no light.

Also when i moving the tone direct wheel on the device i hear crcking soud.

After restarting when playing itunes ther is a sound, but when open pod farm and change tone this is happening.

    I'm so frustrated!

    Forgive me my poor english.

    Re: Studio GX driver problem.

    Hello,

We have just released our latest Mac driver v7.2.1 for Mac OS X to fix the problem where USB Devices become unresponsive after using POD Farm, recording/playback in a DAW, or using other audio programs.

This driver also includes changes which may improve the noise or distortion issues some OS X 10.8 customers have experienced.

Please use Line 6 Monkeyn to update or download the driver directly from our website:

    http://line6.com/software/index.html

If you continue to have problems with audio using our latest 7.2.1 driver for Mac OS X, please submit a support ticket:

    http://line6.com/support/tickets/add.html

    Regards,

    Line6Hugo
