Trying to figure out the effects that have been used in a tone!

Hello,

 

I am trying to figure out the tone structures of the heavy chords in the new single of Three Days Grace - Chalk Outline. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8AKF-wfmNAI

 

Is the POD HD500 able to proudce such a sound for the heavy chords in the song? I was thinking of adding fuzz distortion. What would you suggest?
