User thoughts??

So hard to find reviews of the m20d.  Those of you that now have it and use it, what are your impressions overall?  I'm considering this mixer with 2 L3t mains and 2 L3s subs.  I have heard there are monitor wedges in the works for release in January that will be Line6 link compatible.  Anyway, it's a huge investment and there is nowhere near me that I could even hear what this system sounds like.  I love the idea.  For my band it seems perfect for our situation.  Clubs, bars, casinos etc...

    Hi,

i work with the stagescape for about 3 months and would never return back to an analog mixer.

Its a big step and a big improvement for our band - and the audience

I have used the mixer for quiet a few gigs and recorded some of them as well.  I have found it great.  It is expensive but as im the sound man and drummer for the band i may as well use something that is fun and easy to use.  I have had no problems with the ipad control since using a Apple aiport express for the wireless.  There could be more controls on the record page but i have still recorded and mixed songs that sound really good, but to mix them down i have had to take the headphone out to a mini jack in on my laptop and record into garage band then send to itunes, but there has got to be a better way i guess. id say go for it.

I've just bought it and have rehearsed with it with my duet (also with the Stagesource L3m speakers).  First concert tomorrow...  We're very pleased up to now.  It's definitely more convenient than more conventional desks for people who do not have a sound man.  The possibility of easily recording us while playing and then immediately listening to what we've done and adjusting the mix accordingly while listening is big big pro.  I would never come back to a conventional desk.

The interface could be improved but it's reasonably intuitive and we've never looked for a function for very long. The FSB is great, of course there's a limit to it but you can really get more volume before feedback.
