No love for the for the bass.

I'm beginng to think I'm through with Line 6 as a bassist. I own a Variax 705 that I love dearly. I just wish more could be done with it. The few bass related products this company releases are compied by other companies that do it at lower price points and the same quality. Where's workbench? The bass amps I've tried are awful, and the pods are joke. I'm very depressed by the treatement bass players receive from Line 6. It seems like they don't care. They just want to make the guitarists happy. I just might sell off my gear and replace it from a company that actually cares. I can afford it, I just found the promises that the Line Six gear showed to be exciting and then for reasons unknown to me, that all went away.
I can't even take my 705 out on a gig for fear of it being damaged. It's stuck in the rack in my studio, taking up space until it's time to record and it's coming out less and less since it's a hassle to hook up, with zero reward. Not having the ablility to tinker with the instrument as promised. Oh well, one more instrument for the junk pile I suppose. Along with all the other Line 6 gear.
Stay in the mix and in the know.
