Tyler Variax  and 12 string acoustic capo issues

Hi,

 

I have a Tyler Variax and I want to create a 12 string acoustic custom preset with a virtual capo at the 7th fret. I fire up Workbench, select the instrument and custom slot. I then enable the virtual capo and move it using the sharp and flat buttons but nothing happens to the tone except the it changes to a regular 6 string and not a 12 string.

 

Has anyone managed to achieve this? I'm running the latest Variax firmware and OSX Workbench software, using an HD500 as the interface.
