Presets changing

After about a month, I am finally starting to understand how this entire setup works (finally). One thing I am noticing though is that when I turn on the DT25, HD500 and JTV-59, on occasion, it seems like one or more of the settings in the amp setting of the HD 500 get changed (it typically seems to be the bass or another eq setting). I'm not touching any of the knobs on the amp, so I would expect the preset to pull up the settings from the last saved version of the preset. Am I missing something?
I'm not going to be any help, but I do want Line 6 and others to know I also have similar issues:
1. I'll set up EQ's (for boost) and when I restart the HD500, it'll show as on, but the levels will be reduced as if it's not working.
2. I'll set up a patch as "Variax Mags" and it'll turn on the Variax pizios regardless of the setting - yet on other settings it'll work just fine.
3. It seems to have a tough time saving some of the details - inputs seem to be the worst, but similar with things like EQ, distortion, etc. (but to a lesser degree).
Once they "set" they stay, but they don't stay the way I want them. Ugh. Not sure why or how to fix.
I have found that if I use the LINE6 Pod Edit software to make changes some setting will be saved and other will not. No rhyme or reason.
I have found that if I use the Pod Hd 500 to make my changes and then press the save button. When I come back to them they are correct.
Problem: POD Edit Software
Cure: POD HD500 Control pannel. to make adjustments and save button.
Yup. I have the same issue. Especially whether or not my JTV is on mags or on Variax mode. Have to save it on Pod to get it to save. Ugh. Other issues come and go as well.
Problem Description
Pod hd 500 with Pod edit will not save settings as set with sound patch files.
This problem occurs when you make changes to your sound patch and send it to
pod to be saved And seems to be random
I will attempt to explain what i have found.
If i use the Pod edit program solely to make sound patch changes on say patch 1a
then send the changes
to the pod then using the pod edit to select a new patch 1b then go back to 1a
my changes remain and are there.
Same with using the floor pod solely to make changes to patches they remain.
At any point in this process if i use the pod and press the button on the floor
pod to change my banks and go back my changes are not saved.
The issue is with using the pod edit and floor pod back and forth
when making and saving patch modification
the cure
during the modification of sound patches and selection of the next sound patch use only the pod edit. Do not use the
pod floor button to select the new patch for editing.
Stay in the mix and in the know.
