I'm considering buying a Spider Valve, one of the things which interests me is the xlr out for recording, on the MKII it has the option of cab emulation as well.

Does anyone have any experience with this and is it worth getting the MKII rather than the cheaper MKI purely for this reason or is it just a better sounding amp?

I'm aware I can add cab simulation as a VST after recording but I'd if the MKII has decent emulation then I'd rather do it that way.

Really puzzled by this lol, any advice would be appreciated
