How do I keep my setlist in my HD500 after I turn off power?

I am new to guitar electronic, and I have been digging into the HD500 slowly. Now I am finding tones on custome tone and downloading to my computer. I have figured out how to make a new list and arrange them and then I saved the bundle and send them ALL to my HD500 and sync it. However when I disconnect my power to the HD500 my list goes away. I am sure it is something small I am missing what is it?? Thanks
Can you provide more detail about the exact sequence of operations are using to save the setlist from HD500 Edit to the HD500 device? I suspect something is being missed there somehow. Note that in HD500 Edit you need to hit the ENTER key after editing the setlist name; otherwise the name doesn't 'stick'.
Also, after powering your HD500 on again, try using the HD500 (not HD500 Edit - disconnect the usb cable) to inspect/access all setlists and see what is actually there. Perhaps the saved presets are actually in one of the setlists although the setlist name didn't stick ?
Silverhead you are right! I assumed they were gone when the name went back to "user1". The tones are there but the name I picked for the list did not stick, as you put it. What would be the easiest way to change then name and have it stay?
Use HD500 Edit as you did before to change the Setlist name - but this time make sure you hit the ENTER key before moving Edit's attention from the name field. Then SEND SETLIST to the HD500 device.
(You can also change the Setlist name using the HD500 device itself - but you asked for the easiest way. Use HD500 Edit.)
Thanks again Sliverhead. One last question. Why am I having trouble seeing the he5 files in windows explorer? I have a new laptop so is it a setting of some sort?
top right corner of explorer, pull down organize, folder and search options, view tab, uncheck box for "hide extensions of known file types" then you should see all the file extensions.
Sorry - can't help you there. I would try inspecting/adjusting the View options of your tones folder.
Stay in the mix and in the know.
