Considering buying POD Studio™ KB37 which seems to tick the boxes for me; my last 2 keyboards were Edirol PCR-M80's running off an M-Audio 1010lt and I had the Edirol dead keys problem; I use Win7 64bit and, prior to pressing the buy button - decided to check the Line 6 forums.
I'm reconsidering mainly due to the lack of line 6 support; desperate users with problems using Win 7 64 bit for example which seem to have been ignored, and they had posted the same problems for 6 months or more. Has this changed, has support improved or am I missing something?
I'm a hobby musician with limited funds and expect reasonable support as part of the purchase and from what I have read, unless things have improved, Line 6's customers are often ignored.
I would really appreciate your feedback.
support isn't done on the forums... it's done via a support ticket or via the telephone...
so what you see here is other users ignoring the issues... because other users really don't always know the answers....
support used to be done on the forums.... so you'll see some of that....
and some of those that are ignored are also replying to a thread that was long since answered for the original poster...
basically if you want to get a hold of line6 support the phone has 100% success rate provided you call during the correct hours.
I often find solutions to problems on forums where others have solved and shared [often with the help of technical staff] it seems efficient, educative and also gives an indication of product performance. I can't imagine trying to wade through all the permutations and potential solutions on the phone; still, its not my company and I'm sure it works - but not for me

I just realised "support ticket" which would be better than telephoning, depends how long it takes to reply. They must have a good reason to have a system that's unsatisfactory to so many of their customers and as far as I know - unique to line 6.
nothing to wade through on the phone... just hold til your turn and speak with a human!
i like the forums too... but too many people complained about not talking to line6 direct... (mostly because they didnt mark it as a question)
so they've gone to the direct ticket system....
You sound like a reasonable bloke and if your happy with it then I hope I'll manage because I really like the kb37 and think I'll regret buying an alternative.
