Hi everyone,

I just bought a second hand Pod Xt and while waiting it to arrive home, I have some noob questions:

- I have a Macbook Pro (Mid 2012 model, Mountain Lion 10.8.2, USB 3 ports). I want to know what software do I need to download to edit the sounds on the pod via the computer. I'm aware the Pod Xt is kind of old nowadays, so...Is it possible? I did it before with an old version of Gearbox but on a PPC Mac, and I don't know if that software is still working or if it was replaced by something newer.

- Do I need to update the firmware of the pod in order to be up to date?

- Do you have a similar rig? What's your recording setup? What do you recommend?
