    Re: the wha

This most likely the Input Impedance settin (Input Z or GTR Input Z)g in the input menu that is thowing things off...If it is set to AUTO, then the first AMP or FX in the chain will dictate the Input Impedance...The AMPs are 1M...However, wha pedals are notorious for tone suck and that is the reasons for the feature...A log of the WAHs are low input impedance....So when the impedance drops to 300K, your tone will get darker...Generally, the higher the better...or the more high fidelity...As long as the Impedance is higher than your guitar, it should behave...You have set this per patch, so there might be case where you want a lower impedance...Great for taming a bright strat...If you hard set it to 1M then you should not hear the change you hear now...This is not modelled impedance...rather it is analog and will only affect input 1...

I'm having a very similar problem, and I think it's more associated with how the wah is set up.

I set up a patch last night and it sounded great. I added the wah to it, and what I seem to be getting is the sound of the wah wide open, whether or not I hit the pedal to turn it on. I moved it to the end of the chain, and sure enough it was the wah pedal wide open.

I'll take a closer look and pedal configuration tonight, hopefully I'll find where it's coming from and will post  if I find anything.
