Smart Harmony help A7x

So I am playing the solo for Nightmare - Avenged Sevenfold and I am trying to figure out how to use the smart harmony in the solo and in the beginning of the song. Since I am the only guitarist I thought this would really help. I am pretty sure the song is in D-minor. So far while messing around with it I can't seem to get the correct harmony.

 

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

    For anyone who would be interested I figured it out. For the intro The key is D, scale is harm minor with a + 8.

    For the solo it's D, scale harm minor -4. Both around 26%

     

    I also did a 12 string for Wanted Dead or Alive. Any clean setting key is C Major +8 around 23%
