I've never had a guitar with tuners on the bottom of the headstock before. Intuitively, I thought this set up would require left-handed tuners. The post above seems to confirm it.

Has anyone installed locking tuners on an 89? If so, which brand and model did you use and are they left-handed? I've also seen some listed as "reverse."  Are the pegs staggered in height?
